A professional falla in Valencia
Looking back
As I grew up, I spent much of my time doing technical drawing, something I truly enjoyed and still do. For me, technical drawing wasn’t just about the act itself, it was a way to create time for myself. I would put on music and lose track of time, completely immersed in the process for hours.
Being from Valencia, Fallas has always been an important tradition for me. As a student designer, I had the opportunity to contribute to the design of my school’s falla. This experience allowed me to spend time in the workshop, collaborating with my team on a project that would be proudly presented in front of the entire school and parents.
At the time, these were just activities I did for fun. But looking back, I realize they played a crucial role in shaping my decision to become a designer.

The road I took until I stopped fighting myself on what I truly wanted to do was not easy. It took a few years, and a few mistakes, for me to understand that my place was in designing for people. That realization gave meaning to everything I had been drawn to: the hands-on making, the storytelling, the desire to improve someone’s day through something I created.
